For CHA Challenge #7 – To use 7 patterned papers.
I love the whole strips of patterned paper in a block thing. The colours aren't traditional summer colours, but I was thinking about the whole ‘summer tan’ thing. And I'm on a brown kick at the moment. And this was what was on my desk, and I was too lazy to pull out even more paper.
Journalling reads: For the summer of ‘81 it became a summer ritual to attend swimming lessons at the local pool. First it was in Eamer’s Corners, then later at St. Andrews'. Every weekday morning we'd head to the pool for a one hour lesson. Afternoons were often spent at Free Swim – no better way to cool off on a hot summer day. For several years I also took tennis lessons. They were always scheduled for 1 in the afternoon. Nothing like playing tennis on black asphalt on a hot 30 or 35 degree day. Needless to say, the pool was always a welcome cool off after an hours of tennis and before cycling home. Swimming, tennis, and cycling. These were the summers of my youth.
