Project - * Everyday/365 Theme * Twenty-four 7 by Marcy Penner posted 01/01/13 Galleries: Scrapbooking The majority of things I scrapbook are just the everyday moments. But to me they are so important. A big chunk of my boys' days are spent playing with lego. I've documented it many times before, so I didn't feel the pressure to do a lot of journaling on this page. I started by stacking my two photos and then moving one to the right slightly and on the the left slightly. I still wanted a visual box, so I filled in the empty spaces with random embellishments. When I chose them I kept in mind the “everyday” theme. The KI Memories washi tape [twopeasinabucket.com], Pebbles weekday paper [twopeasinabucket.com] and Pink Paislee daily tab [twopeasinabucket.com] fit in quite obviously, while the KI Memories number stamp [twopeasinabucket.com] and Evalicious “documented” stamp [twopeasinabucket.com] are a little less obvious. On the right side of my blue triangle I had originally sewn an arrow shape. But it didn't look quite right to me. I ripped it out and sewed a bunch of zig-zaggy stitches over it and covered it with a Studio Calico wooden banner and my typed title. |
