Galleries: Scraprooms

Well, it's been quite a while since I've been here but I couldn't wait to share my new & improved craftroom! I've been scrapping for 6 years and this is the first real space I've had all to myself! So excited to start creating in here! It's a small room but I think I used each & every nook & cranny, lol! I didn't have to buy much because I have been collecting things for years and I repurposed lots of things too, like all of the furniture.

I still need a few things like a lampshade :o) I also need to raise the worktable up on casters and get a stool of some sort. I like to stand when I scrap but I wouldn't mind being able to sit too. The only thing that could make it better is if I could fit a comfy chair. I'd never leave if I did have one! Here are some details…

-The shelfs are Billy bookcases from Ikea with the backs removed.

-The desk is a computer desk I was no longer using. The place where the tower sits was perfect for a trashcan ($2.30 on clearance from Target) and the pullout shelf where the keyboard goes has tin buckets and baskets that hold odds& ends.

-The antique cubbyhole piece is a fabulous find I came across a few years ago. I bought it specifically for my future craft area.

-I removed the door from the closet and replaced it with a cute curtain from Target. I still need to get an organizer for the closet, where I plan to store my photos, albums, memorabilia and paper scraps.

-I got the paper trays from two seperate scrapbook stores. The plexiglass one has a piece missing and was slated for the dumpster. The other one I bought when a store went out of business.

-The slat walls also came from a scrapbook store that a friend owned. I love these!

-Most of the storage pieces came from Ikea, Target, Michaels or Lowes.

-The spinning thing next to my sewing machine was a babyfood holder. I've been hanging on to this for a while. My son is 8, lol!

-I mostly organize by manufacturer or theme/type. This works best for the way I scrap!

-Paint color is called Rasberry Sherbert, I believe and came from Lowes.

-The curtains were a christmas gift from my Mom. They came from Target.

I have more photos since they wouldn't all fit in one post. You can find them here [twopeasinabucket.com]

Edited to add: Not sure why the link to the other photos isn't working but it's a few posts before this one.

If you have any questions about something I didn't mention, just e-mail me!

Thanks for peeking @ my new space!

xoxo,
Jen
