To scrapbook my ‘everyday stuff’ I wanted to use many photos to capture the love of my life. I wanted this page to reflect many aspects of his personality & the things he loves: outdoors, subtlety, complexity, rough on the edges, but a bit ethereal…*sigh* I’m in love!<p>
1. In Photoshop, Open paper & photos. Drag & drop your Text paper onto your 12 x 12 layout. <p>
2. Add each photo with Move Tool.<p>
3. With your Mask Tool, mask around the edges of the photos to blend them in.<p>
4. Use your Light Modes to blend in the photos. Here, I’ve used Overlay & Color Burn to achieve the looks I wanted.<p>
5. Add subtle brush work around the photos by adjusting the levels of opacity to distress & add depth.<p>
6. Add the black paint brush & then the lighter colored “King’ brush, stictching & photo edges. The key to this look is to layer, layer, layer. And play around with the opacity levels of all layers to give this ethereal look. Have fun!
