Journaling: I couldn’t let December 12, 2012, pass without marking the day – what better way than by taking pictures and preserving them on a scrapbook layout. This is the last date of this kind in this millennium which makes we wish I had documented all the dates like this since 2001. December 12 was a Wednesday, just an ordinary day in the middle of the week, but it turned out to be a fairly busy day. It began for me as most days do with a cup of coffee while I read my Bible and had my devotional. Don worked on putting his new saw together in preparation for framing the porch for the screens. Our new gutters were installed, and I got a great bokeh shot with my Jim Shore angel.

I listened to two webinars online at Masterful Scrapbook Design. For lunch I had a bowl of the yummy soup that tastes just like Olive Garden’s Zuppa Toscana. I got the recipe from Pinterest and will definitely make it again. I also snacked on the Salted Pecan Bark I made from Tom’s recipe – delicious! I did a load of laundry before I left for my manicure and pedicure. When I returned, we went out to stay with the munchkins while Marc and Karen attended a Christmas party. A bonus was the double rainbow I saw just after much-needed rain.
