love this! I like how you used the frames and stamped the butterflies on the kraft paper! It's good to see a summer page. :)

Great journaling that also makes me a little sad! I hadn't thought of my son outgrowing my daughter, but its going to happen! I love those fabulous pool photos. The lighting is perfect. Nice butterflies, too.

I wish my daughter had stuck with swimming. its such great exercise. great summertime photos. love the frames!

I love the grid design you chose and the paper works so well with the other kits you used. I'm certain they will catch up with one another again- right :-)

Galleries: Scrapbooking

This week the digital creative team was “smitten with” the English Rose Paper Pack [twopeasinabucket.com] by Adrienne Loomans. WOW - these papers are beautiful is all I can say about these!!! Adrienne designed them to work digitally of course, but also with wonderful texture so they are just as beautiful using them as printable paper.

My layout focuses on the changing relationship between my daughter and my niece. I used primarily Adrienne's papers but quite a few other elements from different designers too. One of the things I love about digital scrapping is the ability to alter items to fit my layout vision. On this page I altered some colors of alpha and elements and shortened the frames to fit this design. I seriously never tire of the versatility digital offers.

Also included for your viewing pleasure (lol) are the other kit smitten projects made by CT members this week
Jen Richards used some extracted pictures of her kids as clipping masks to make the coolest silhouettes.
Mary Martinez rocks out the patterned paper background combining the vibrant colors with b&w picture for a really great look.
Liz Jutila combines the papers with some cool eyelet paper (also new in the store this week) to show us what pretty and feminine is all about,
and lastly two of our amazing card artists use the papers to make some awesome hybrid cards - Jocelyn Olson and Jen Barksdale are so talented it is amazing!

Thanks for looking.
