Too funny that stamping has you jumping out of bed, but it is a really nice image that you have created.
Well, I'm still laughing at your bolting out of bed to carry out your idea. I'd have gone back to sleep and forgotten by morning. This is one fancy cup of brew and steam. Good thing you struck while the iron was hot. Beautiful results. TFS. Daria
This looks fantastic! Thank you for playing my challenge!
holy-moly! This is fantastic! What an amazing combination!
Ok, if I wasn't impressed before, I AM NOW!!
WOW is right!
Project - WSW- My EUREKA Challenges card
posted 06/21/08 at 11:01 PM
So I'm lying in bed, reading and dozing, still thinking about WSW and how I just couldn't figure out a way to do Daniel's challenge…Stamps as Tools. I have this EUREKA moment, bolt out of bed, stamp my pretty little flourishes on the reverse of a piece of cardstock, use it as a pattern, sit in front of the tellie for half an hour handstitching some pieces of the pattern on the front, add a few beads, and this card was born. What FUN! (The pattern is reversed because I stamped on the reverse of my cardstock) I used one of my very favourite Impression Obsession stamps, gold-embossed it just underneath where I stitched, then gold-embossed it again and coloured the second one with Prismacolour Premier markers, pop-dotted it, and finally, stamped the Hero Arts sentiment at the bottom. So I'll enter this one into Daniel's challenge, and also into Mix it Up, Anything Goes, Punch of Colour, Opposites Attract, and Colour Wheel. I'm posting a scan of the Inkadinkado stamp I used as a pattern on page 2. Now I'm going back to bed. 'Nite peas.
