i am a super fan of digi for many reasons...but one inparticular is not having to clean up scraps of paper from every nook & cranny! paper is fabulous but sometimes it's nice to let the computer do the cutting. :) 

Supplies: 
Photoshop or other editing software 
Digital patterned papers 
Wacom tablet or drawing utility 
Digital photos 

Technique: 
"Cut out" digital papers by placing image or letters on top of paper. Use selection tool to cut out the letter, template, or image then drag it to your layout using the move tool. 
Create a new layer each time you want to add another element 
Then drag them around and arrange them on your background paper
