Oooohhhh *jealous*
I love the paper shelves, that's a great idea. How'd ya do it?! I hope when I buy a house I'll have a scrap area like that ... hope the bf's handy !!! I can paint but probably not build ... but ya never know the motivation of having a room like so would probably be more than enough to get me going!

Your room is perfect! Well, I reckon all of the other husbands that have been shown this room are "cussing" your wonderful hubby! (Mine is.) What a great guy you have. Thanks for inviting all of us into your room. Maria

I absolutely LOVE your room! Thanks for posting it!

Wow! Love it! When you go to sell your house be sure to tell us peas online so we can buy it just for this room!!!!!! Tell you husband he;s amazing for doing this for you!

I'm curious as to the size of your room. Your DH did a wonderful job and your design is great.

are these going to be up again soon, I can't wait to see it!

Welcome to my fabulous new studio! My DH has worked his tail off building this for me. He joked that for Christmas, he was just going to tie a big red bow around the door! LOL!

I tried to design this room around the kitchen work triangle concept. And I must say, it's working out great! I never want to leave this room! I love the 12x12 storage cabinet and he also built the stamp pad caddy from scraps. Not bad for a guy who's real job is a computer geek! :)

UPDATE: Thanks for all your comments, you've made my DH's day! I can't tell you how many hours we invested in this project. I'm sooo sick of painting it's not funny! But I must tell you, he did have a motive for doing this room for me…he says for every dollar we spend on my room he gets to spend an equal amount on his workshop! LOL!

Construction details: All of the cabinets were made from MDF and beadboard paneling. Very inexpensive way to go. The only spendy part of the room was the countertop. It was 2/3 the cost of the entire project.

Thanks again.
