Each year when we go to Mexico, we go to visit the cementary where my grandpa was buried as well as an aunt and baby cousin. This time, I happened to be visiting when it was Fathers' Day. Journaling details a little of what we did, such as pray and sing and even share things out loud in case my grandpa can hear us. It's a very special tradition and I enjoy it even though it makes me sad. I never met my grandpa ~ he died 2 years before I was born.

**** This is one of the things that I want to pass on to my children. I want them to know their roots. I want them to know where they came from and see la tierra donde naci yo. I want them to appreciate family and have a special love for them ~ even though we may only see them once a year sometimes not even that. I want them to see how special moments like these are and how truly blessed they are to be a part of such a Huge Familia Mexicana and full of love.
