Pam, thank you so much for linking this page for me to see--you are a very strong woman and, like me, you WILL make it!! Our situations are different, but we share the same pain of having our hearts trampled on--I hope that you have found some sort of peace from creating this and sharing it with others--I know that creating my LO helped me a little bit to heal..

I can't fathom how hard that must have been for you. Kudos to you - for scrapping such a tough thing, and especially for being a survivor!

Wow. What a powerful layout. I'm glad the challenge quotes were able to help you get to where you could finish this one. Fabulous job! I so glad you are in a better place now.

WOW, what a great LO, very hard to do publicly on this topic, very courageous you are, XXXXXXX Huge HUGS go out to you. You are very strong women, and the will you have to help yourself is so wonderful. Be proud of yourself. You are very important. Take care and TFS <img border='0' src='/images/icons/smile.gif'>

Amazing journaling....really! Thank you for sharing your pain with us...hugs.

I am so glad you got out of such a terrible situation. This is a really moving layout. I think it shows how this &quot;hobby&quot; can bring healing.

the inspiration for this layout was inspiration challenge #59 and the quote by oprah winfrey “turn wounds into wisdoom”. the design for the layout was inspired by a sketch #42 on <a href="http://janellerichmond.typepad.com/sketchthis/ [janellerichmond.typepad.com]“>sketch this</a>.

this is a layout that has been in the works for over two years now. i was in a horrible marriage. this layout started the night i came back from my first WEAVE (women escaping a violent environment)meeting. it was in april or may of 2005. (for some stupid reason i didn't write down the date.) immediately upon getting home i wrote out the journaling for this layout. i tried several different techniques to make my picture look like i was broken, but my face would come up really distorted each time. i found the perfect overlay at scrapbook expo in 2006 but never finished the layout. when i saw this quote from oprah, i was inspired to finish the layout. i must say that i am VERY happy with the way this layout turned out . . . especially for being such a hard subject! (clarification: the journaling on this layout is about a time prior to my rockin' bf entering my life!)

you can check out this layout and others on my blog. <a href=”http://scrapaholicsanon.blogspot.com/ [scrapaholicsanon.blogspot.com]">scrapaholics anon</a>.
