what a sweet story...made me tear up. I love how you scrapped it with the heart doileys and flowers...very feminine and pretty

First grade, first love, first heartbreak.

Joey S was my first boyfriend. We were in the same 1st grade class and we sat next to each other on the bus almost every day. He was such a handsome young boy with blond hair and blue eyes. He was sweet on me too, I knew, because he held my hand on the bus one day. I don't remember feeling butterflies or even nervous. I just remember feeling happy.

Not long after that, our teacher announced to the class that he and his family would be moving to Florida. His last day at school, the last day I ever saw him, was Valentines Day. We sat next to each other on the way home. When my stop came and I had to get off, he reached over and squeezed my hand and told me good-bye. I remember my little heart breaking on the walk home.

I wonder if he remembers me, I doubt it. But I remember him and my first heartbreak on Valentines Day.
