Project - Seasonal Layouts : {this year will be different} by thequeenofquirk posted 01/15/09 Galleries: Scrapbooking <p>This is an extremely personal layout for me, but I felt like it needed to be shared. I know a lot of people can relate to being truly unhappy. It's been like that for us for a couple of years but we have managed to pull ourselvs up on our feet and we are truly happy now and I feel so blessed to be in that place. So, this New Year's, my resolutions don't have so much to do with me or what I want…it has more to do with making up for lost time and making sure their our childrens' are better this year and every year after this.</p> <p>This is one of my favorite photos of my girls. We were just walking along, snapping pictures, when they spontaneously hugged and all cried out "CHEESE!" at the same time. It's one of my favorites. </p> <p>The photo mat is a take on a vintage poloraid. It doesn't have the exact dimensions…just a hint of it, though. I also wanted a big floral pattern in the background but I wanted it to be subtle. This one was just perfect! The rest of the goodeis were things I just adored so I found a spot for them. I didn't want to use too many embellishmetns as it would take away from the photo.</p> |
