WOW! I bow to you I have tried to get something like this for 3 years-nicely done!

Wow, thanks for all the positive comments...they are always appreciated.

Debb, I used my trusty 100mm f/2.8. It ROCKS as a macro lens and even takes great portraits too!

Wow, very cool! What lens did you use?
Wasn't it wonderful this weekend? We just got back from camp today. Three nights of winter bliss. Ahhhhhhhhhh.

Ingrid, these are awesome! Kudos to you for capturing in the mili-second! I have tried but I can never get a good snowflake. You definitely get the prize here! Great, beautiful work! ML

these are great! I wish we had some snow!! <img border='0' src='/images/icons/smile.gif'>

Those are amazing shots of snowflakes, well worth the effort. It is tough to get them isolated like that - the details are so crisp. The first two would make beautiful tags for holiday gifts.

So nice and clear, showing GREAT detail!

Ingrid, these are fantastic!!! I just love them. I keep trying to get some flakes, but ours have been so fat they are more like blobs and chunks that clearly defined flakes. So gorgeous--love #2 with the ice crystals in there. Hats off!!!

Thanks Shannon and Jo. Oh, I'm afraid they're all too real! There's lots of it here in Canada. Actually, I had to be very, very fast to get the flakes before they melted on the deck railing. The temperature was rising and they were only staying for about 2 seconds or so. Tricky, but worth the results!

These are beautiful! Are they real? Lovely shots!

BEAUTIFUL!!! I love these!
