I think you did a good job for your first photo shoot. I love her cute little expression in #7 and #11.
You might want to try moving her away from the backdrop a bit. It will help blur the background for you so you don't notice the fabric/wrinkles as much. I know how it is with a baby though. My daughter likes to sit right where the fabric hits the floor and pull down the backdrop.

Good luck and keep on posting!

I like #11 and #6...

I agree about the "not cutting off hands and feet" etc.

Also natural light is good. And your white balance is a little off. I suggest taking these in the middle of your living room by the windows around 3 in the afternoon. You'll see how much better they turn out. Have your daughter facing the window as well.

she's too cute for words

I LOVE them all...I seriously cannot pick a fave

Thanks for the great advice.

I can't figure out how to turn the flash off on my camera.

I guess I could read the book, right? LOL!

You're off to a good start! I love #11. She is a cutie!!!!

A little bit of advice..........try to not cut off hands and feet when you shoot or crop.......tends to make the picture distracting.

Second......kill the flash, find a natural light source, put your subject next to a door or window and shut the flash, you will find the results much more inviting!
