This is a photo I took of my daughter at the pool last summer, and her bright smile seemed to demand bright papers… enter the Lauderdale line by BasicGrey!

The lower portion of the layout (the wave and the orange block below with journaling) are raised with pop dots for dimension, but this cast a shadow on the layout when I photographed it.

Papers & other materials on page are all BasicGrey– mostly from their Lauderdale line, but I also used a little bit of Hello Luscious, Green at Heart, and June Bug. Title is die cut with a Kerri Bradford design using my Silhouette.

P.S.– Just realized that I didn't add the inspiration piece, so I'm returning now to do that. I wanted to host a brightly colored birthday party and loved the one in the photo here when saw this color palette online. I didn't follow it exactly, but its cheery, summery feel was inspirational.
