What a great layout to remember your sister...It's hard when we lose someone close to us and doing layouts in that vein can sometimes lend itself to the somber and this is totally the opposite of that. I Love the paper and bright and cheery title.
What a wonderful way to document your sister. It turned out beautiful. I love the mix of patterned papers as well as the embellishments you used.
Wow, that BG paper really looks like old Simplicity patterns (are they?)! I can only imagine how emotional making a page such as this must have been.
This had to be such a difficult page to make. It is wonderful that you can put those memories down onto paper.

Also fits Color Me Scrappy Challlenge #31. My sister passed away several years ago and I will be making a companion page with more details of her life and what I remember. I also listed lots of location details on the back of this page because they made me think of so many things I miss about my childhood home. TFL! |
