Hey Alma!
<br>

<br>
It is so cool to see these layouts on-line and know that I've seen 'em in real life too!!!!! Touched 'em even!!! (A true lover of paper understands this excitement!) =) Just wanted to shout out a &quot;hello&quot; to you and let you know again how fun it was for me to have you come in the store and share your pages with me and to have gotten the chance/ opportunity to &quot;connect&quot; with you! I checked into the Fiber Arts stuff and it is so cool, thanks for sharing that info.

Isn't it strange how Catholic school nuns are the worst?! Aren't they supposed to be teaching us how to act like Christians? I guess in a way they are...do just the opposite of them. I went to Catholic school until 3rd grade and hated just about every minute of it. To this day I can't walk into that school and get a feeling of claustrophobia. This is a great layout!! <img border='0' src='/images/icons/confused.gif'>

Love this LO. So sorry for your pain, although I can totally relate. I had a nun, Sister Brendan, who taught me first grade. I later learned the name to describe her: sadistic. She would tie a string around our loose teeth and attach the other end of the string to the doorknob and pull it out just to keep our fingers out of our mouths.....also, she walked around the classroom with a wooden ruler, and if she caught you counting on your fingers (this is 1st grade, mind you-you have to count on your fingers!) she'd SMACK your hands with the ruler....there's more, but I don't want to frighten ya'll. Fortunately, I can laugh about all of this now! LOL Thanks for sharing your great LO!

Thanks guys! I told my Mom about this lo and she's excited to see it this weekend. She remembers this teacher well! Leaving that school was the best thing for me and knowing her taught me to give kids the benefit of the doubt where teachers are concerned. I like to hear the facts, talk to both parties then make a decision.

The Milk thing was horrible because I threw up each day I dranked it. It was so embarrassing, but in those years kids wouldn't dare nicknaming you for that. Just think what my name would be now; &quot; Up Chuck Girl or Stinky!&quot; Later my Mom became a Registered Nurse and that's when we were able to put a name to it. I haven't had a glass of milk since that class. I take a supplement.

Thanks also for saying I was cute. I thought I was a neat kid. I was a good student and a caring person, but as time went by I became more withdrawn during school hours because of teachers like this. It took me many years (High School) to reemerge again. Thanks for Looking this is going into my all about me book.

Looks like she didn't like you! That is SO sad when teachers behave like that. You did look like a cutie, too. I have a few 'old hags' treat me like that now and then, but nothing like you got from that one teacher. I started to type how I can't believe the whole milk thing, but honestly, the every bit of it just makes my jaw drop. So cruel!
<br>
I'm glad you have such a great mom!

Awwwww! And you look like such a sweetheart in your school photo too! I also had one of these teachers. Mine was Mrs. Campbell in the fifth grade. My brother had her the year before and he could be very difficult so, she just assumed I would be the same. It really was a rough year. I never thought to make a page of it so thanks for the idea : )

I've always heard about teachers who were great and made terrific impression on them, unfortunately I had a teacher who was just awfull to me. But, because of her treatment to me I learned to trust my own self image of myself and it made me a stronger person. So, I decided to scrap the reasons why this teacher is rememebred by me. I used: Paper Pizazz/ Rust/Black Plaid, Ctmh flowers, Bazzill flowers, mm Brads, mm ribbon, mm ribbon letters, fbermark textured paper, mm mini ribbon buckle, mm hinges, mm photo turners, DCWV black paper, chipboard arrowm matting board, doodle bug rub ons. DCWV glitter paper, ink, mm mini bornze brad, Mm halloween moon clip, Krylon Copper leafing pen.
