Project - My new sister!

We are a friendly, easygoing, little group, so come on over to the Pub and check out our new thread entitled "Flashback Friday Challenge". The challenge this week was brought by Laura Fiore and was to scrap something "new". I chose this photo. The quality of this photo stinks, but I am impressed with my Mom or Dad (or whoever took this photo) because it definitely caught my elation up close as I'm holding my baby sister for the first time. I love this photo! Journaling: "Look at my face! Would you say I was excited to see Marcia arrive? It was instant love..and to this day, Marcia is one of my best friends. I'm so glad to call my sister my friend." |

Alicia your photo is absolutely so sweet and joyful! I don't think the quality is bad at all, the important thing is you can see so well your joy about a new baby sister to love. How wonderful for you to have such a special relationship with her. Love, love the soft pinks and browns and the cool framing technique you did with those bits of border strips. Looks like you created another wonderful title with your new toy too! Awesome heritage page again girlie!

Alicia - I don't know how you do it but you always have such beautifully detailed and designed LOs. This is gorgeous! What a sweet photo, it totally captures your joy and looks pretty good quality to me. I love the swirl of stitching with the hand cut paisley accents and the great title work.

I think this photo is fab Alicia, and so is this lo!! It captures your emotion perfectly and even though the colour is a little off, at least its up close!
Love the hearts here and of course your cutting work, goes without saying! Love how you did your title! The colours are so soft and pretty, work very well with the photo.
OK, fess up, what is your new toy? Whatever it is,it looks like you are having fun playing.
