Project - Life is so very short!

BEautiful page Alicia. I love how you used a current birthday and past photo of your mom. Wonderful journaling as always too and so very true.

this is so pretty and I so love the two photos next to each other.

What a lovely page - so many wonderful details on this one. My fave? The big ribbon with brads, very cool!

This is gorgeous work girl. I have to say I have ribbon envy, as I can NEVER get my ribbons to work out like that. Gorgeous!

Beautiful job on the two photos and wonderful journaling for your children. Love the colors and design in this- I always look forward to the flashback layouts.

As always Alicia, my broken record is playing...this is gorgeous, you are so good, it's true! <img border='0' src='/graphics/mbicons/smilies_v2/wink.gif'>

It's Friday…time for a heritage page from me today.

This week's challenge was to scrap a birthday. I cheated! I couldn't find any birthday photos of my Mom except for one from about 3 or 4 years ago, so I decided to do a comparison page and give a lesson to my kids about how short life is.

Journaling reads:

“Mom's 74 years on this earth have gone so quickly. I am sure she would tell you that the older she gets, the faster time passes. Let Grandma be an example to you that life is so short. Don't waste your life on things that do not matter. God, faith, family, friends - these are what's important and where you should spend your energy and love.”

Thanks for looking. Alicia
