Project - Themed Layout: Deconstructed

There was a huge, old, gorgeous church next to the hospital where we live. We left the morning after my sister had her baby to find it demolished; all but this one tower. I was intrigued by the image of the door; a room that no longer existed, yet still had a door. I happened to have my camera with me for the birth, so I snapped a few quick shots as we walked past in the early morning.
__various frames (My Mind's Eye and 2Peas digital kit)
__stamps (Fontwerks ‘Give Me Wings’)
__staz-on inks in several colors
__pencil, white gel pen, white sharpie, colored Zig writers, & Berol Prismacolor grey markers
__glue dots & vellum adhesive

1. On 2 pieces of 8.5x11 cardstock, affix photos in a somewhat triangular way, near the top-center of layout.
2. Begin stamping butterfly/wing images bursting out of the photos in a motion leading up towards the left of the page. Stamp directly onto the photos and background paper. Also, stamp images onto vellum; cut & punch them out, then affix to page atop the other stamped images. Color in and around the stamped wings with white pen/marker.
3. Add frames to pictures, cutting some apart and adding pieces around bottom of page to frame title area.
4. Sketch in grid lines and title. Draw over sketch lines in title, without erasing them, with white pen, and shade in with grey marker. Draw over grid lines with colored markers and add journaling bits, too.
5. Print out Journaling Frame from 2Peas digital kit onto grid paper. Distress paper edges, and add journaling. Add to page.
