<p>Apart from layering items on my page as I would if it were paper, and adding some drop shadows, the only other real "techniquey" digital things I did here were on the font and the scallop frame.  </p>
<p>The frame is a scallop-a-looza shape I resized to frame the page.  I then overlayed a Madison paper on the layer above and did a Warming Photo Filter on the paper to make the colors blend better with my other elements.  I then performed a Clipping Mask on the paper to the scallop shape and Merged the layers.  To get the "inked" edges effect, I gave it a dark brown Inner Shadow in the Blending Mode, and adjusted the Light Mode to Linear Light.</p>
<p>The font work was performed in a text box (created by selecting the Type Tool, then clicking and dragging my mouse to the size preferred).  I adjusted the justification in the Paragraph Window and typed my text to fit.  Once finished, I played around with the light modes on the font layer until I settled on the Linear Light.</p>
