Project - New Product Focus : Alexander Mini-Kit

I just LOVE printing out good quality digital paper designs to use on paper layouts, and Meredith's are no exception! I used the papers from her "Alexander Mini Kit" to make little faux "books". They were created digitally first (with scallop edges and drop shadows) and then printed out and cut & folded. I then stitched them to the background cardstock along the spine so they could "open" (I have written journaling under all the "books" about the book I read, my thoughts and feelings, etc.)

The little i-pods were created digitally, as well. I took my photo of the i-pod and cut and pasted the different book covers into the screen, as they appear on my actual i-pod when i'm listening to them. The i-pods were then printed out onto glossy photo paper and cut, trimmed, and adhered with 3-D foam adhesive.

Finally, I added little button/loop enclosures to all the "books" so they could be opened and closed to reveal the hidden journaling underneath.
