Love this. Great project and great idea. I love that you went ahead with it even though you only had 1 pic. My little boy would probably love to look at a book like this about Momma as a little girl. I remember as a child that it was so mysterious to me that my parents had ever been kids, lol.

Project - when i was your age - mini album by gluestickgirl posted 05/30/11 Galleries: Scrapbooking, Stamping hi peas! i'm here today with a fun little mini made for the connecting with creativity series. my album is a look back into the '80s - filled with a few facts about my life when i was eight. since i only had one photo - the rest are in storage at the moment! - i filled my pages with statements about me at that age. i think this will be a great conversation starter when i look at it with my boys. =) i started my album with a JBS Hodge Podge book, and mixed in some Hambly overlays and October Afternoon Miscellany pieces. other than that, i added some tags, a couple of sheets of pp and some label stickers. i love that i have enough of the Hodge Podge book left to use as accents on my pages - or to do another book!! |
