Project - valentimes by gluestickgirl posted 02/13/12 Galleries: Scrapbooking i'll admit it - we're valentine slackers at my house. all valentine addressing tends to happen the day before the class parties. this year, however, our littlest is WAY ahead of schedule. he saw the valentines at target, picked out his favorite, and started addressing them as soon as he got home. in the middle of january. crazy. i'm kind of obsessed with this mason jar chipboard from dear lizzy, so i started my page by arranging it and the two photos on my background. i felt like i needed another large element to balance off the arrangement, and this diecut pebbles tag worked perfectly - and it was a great place to add journaling. i had sam write his name on a word bubble cut from a piece of pebbles patterned paper, and then finished off the design with a label from crate paper. the heart clip on the tag is supposed to go around the "4" in the border sticker - sam's age - but it slipped before i took the photo. i slid it back over and added a glue dot behind it so it can't move again. ;) i also added mister huey's shine to the background to give the whole page a little shimmer. |
