Project - ritual by gluestickgirl posted 02/27/12 Galleries: Scrapbooking, Stamping i recently took photos to record a day in the life, and couldn't resist scrapping this one on its own. without the push to record an entire day, i don't think i would have thought to capture this little ritual - i'm so thankful that i did. i started this page by layering a printable journaling card + a ticket from the october afternoon miscellany pack. i trimmed my photos to look like little polaroids and them added them over the top. the big button, ticket and yellow seam binding also came from the oa miscellany - i love the mix of pieces that come in those packs. perfect for a bits and piece scrapper like me! the “t” in ritual got knocked out of alignment when i stitched across the letters - i was going to fix it, and then decided that i liked how it looked. i don't think it would work on a more clean lined page, but since this page is a little more freeform it can carry it. |
