Debbi - this made me literally laugh out loud. I love it and I love the story behind it!
This is really pretty, Debbi. I love all of the layers and details.
Such a fun page, and I am sure the students love your lizard. I was glad to see you scrap 8x8. I do too, and you don't see that a whole lot! Great page!! Have a blessed day!

Project - Literary Lizard {CCG 190} by Debbi T posted 05/03/11 at 06:05 AM Galleries: Scrapbooking This is my bearded dragon Leo who I take to my classroom during the week. I take her out during storytime, when I read aloud, and one day I look up from my book and saw that my students were decorating Leo with magnetic poetry. Fortunately, I had my camera in my purse that day! I made this for Color Combos Galore [colorcombosgalore.ning.com]. Our sponsor this month, Nikki Sivils, gave us some papers to work with (the plaid and the light blue papers are from her It's Raining, It's Pouring collection). For those who don't know, I scrap 8 x 8. Materials: Patterned Paper: Nikki Sivils, Chatterbox, Pink Paislee; Solid Paper: Anna Griffin; Chipboard Letters: Heidi Swapp; Letter Stickers: Webster's Pages; Chipboard Accent: BasicGrey; Brads: BasicGrey, MOD, Making Memories; Word Stickers: Making Memories, Creative Imaginations; Buttons: Making Memories; Photo Corners: Heidi Swapp; Metallic Dots: Colorbok; Border Punch: EK Success: Star Punch: Fiskars; Stamp Ink: ColorBox; Pen: Sakura; Other: Dictionary page, burlap, trim, pop dots, metal book plate. TFL! ~Debbi T |
