Galleries: Scrapbooking

I made this for Color Combos Galore [colorcombosgalore.ning.com]. As you can see from the Inspiration Board, we had to document what we love about summer, which was a no-brainer, since I'm a teacher! I was also inspired by the picture on the inspiration board–I tried to recreate the look of the seafoam on the waves by tearing the strips of paper, and I left the threads uncut to mimic the seabreeze. For those who don't know, I scrap 8 x 8. My page is inspired by Creative Scrappers Sketch 156. I used lots of old stash for this page!

Materials: Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned Paper: 7 Gypsies, Hambly, Fancy Pants, Crate Paper, Making Memories, Die Cuts With a View; Letter Stickers: BasicGrey; Rub-on Letters: Headline; Jewels: K&Co; Chipboard Butterflies: Dusty Attic; Ribbon Flower: BoBunny; Brad: Recollections; Fabric Butterfly: Scarlet Lime kits; Other: Burlap, pop dots.
