Journaling reads: Disney is full of old fashioned rides like the carousel. This particular one was built in 1917 and was called the Liberty Carousel. The Walt Disney Imagineers found it in 1967 and bought it to Disneyworld where, after an extensive renovation, it began service in 1971. Every horse on this ride is different and there is a legend that the horse with the golden bow on its tail belongs to Cinderella. We didn?t find her horse, but I enjoyed riding the carousel anyway.
