Project - Themed Projects : Glimpse by {Jen Jockisch} posted 01/15/10 Galleries: Scrapbooking <p>I love this photo of my daughter, even though it's out of focus and not really perfect. I just feel like I get a brief glimpse into what she may look like someday…and of course I think she'll be a stunner.</p> <p>I wanted to play off the muted colors in the photo but then add some punch, so I sort of pieced together a background out of cream colored patterned papers. I then hand cut the leaves from some Basic Grey patterned paper and then added in some stitching. I used Sassafrass Lass flowers to add some color pop, as well as my MM Slice to cut some additional embellishments. I also went over most of me elements with a black American Crafts Slick Writer, just to add even more dimension and pop. Finally, I added in a few buttons and rhinestones.</p> |
