Project - Design School - Garden Girls by {Jen Jockisch} posted 09/05/11 Galleries: Scrapbooking Hi Peas! So my assignments was Proportion or Scale. I knew I wanted to use these Instagram photos from our Garden Girl meet up at CHA, and I knew they would be tiny, so that was where I began my proportional design. I had originally thought to make my title large in proportion to the photos, and began by cutting them from the green American Crafts paper with my Silhouette. After I looked at it though i really liked the negative and so I layer that down and embellished the letters. I feel like the large sheet of green patterned paper with the smaller embellishments and photos and the larger title added in really achieves a sense of proportion. Also, I should add that this was a really quick layout (my favorite kind!) and came together in about 40 minutes or so. |
