Love the finer BG! IT adds so much to this card! And I really like the way your tulips look with the watercoloring!
Pretty card! TFS!
Very lovely card. You did a great job coloring the tulips. Great color combos of the peachy pink and greens.
Love this, so pretty with the fibers. It gives it a nice shabby chic look:)
Wow, I'm very impressed you found a way to attach the fibers. They make a wonderful background and add so much texture!
Thanks for taking part in my challenge. I love the fibers that you used and the use of the lace. Beautiful. Your coloring of the tulips is great.
Beautiful, Jan! Wonderful coloring and shading.
Thanks for the tip about using the anti-static bag to remove stickiness. I would never have thought about using that.
TFS. Daria

Project - WF13 Fiber Challenge by Far North posted 02/17/13 at 01:22 AM Galleries: Stamping This challenge was a great opportunity to use some fibers that I have had in my stash for far too long. At first I didn't know how to attach this fibrous material. After unsatisfactory trials with ATG tape and PPA white glue, I found my Xyron worked well. I attached the adhesive to the paper, placed the fibers on it, ran a brayer over the material to assure it was completely attached and then bounced my static cling bag over the material to take away the stickiness in the material's openings. Attached lace with ATC double stick tape. Unfortunately, I do not know the name of the tulip image. I water colored the image with Tombow makers and a water brush. |
