Hi, Godelieve! Gorgeous, striking card! I love the uneven edge and the distressed edge of the paper. Pretty trees and stars with pearl centers! Looks PERFECT to me! :-)
Godelieve, this is lovely. Really nice design layout and balance. Funny you mentioned the wavy edge because my first thought on viewing the card was 'I wish I could get that kind of edge...How does SHE do that?!?'
Wow - I REALLY love this card - the colors and the trees, the sprigs of pine in the corner, the way you stamped your sentiment and yes, those pearls on the starbursts add such an elegant touch! Beautiful! (p.s. I like your uneven edge :)
I love the way you stamped the words, and the stamped trees compliment the gorgeous background.
Hi There: You look familar! Your from our Hero Arts Flickr group right! I thought I recognized your face before. I just want to tell you that your card is simply gorgeous. You really did great with Jenn's technique for your background and I love how those trees turned out. The pearls really does add that special touch of elegance. Thanks so much for the inspiration today. P.S. I go by Scrapper43 over in our HA Flickr Group. Maybe it isn't there but somewhere else that I have seen you. Lol! Take care.
it's very pretty, I like the uneven edge. This technique is so pretty, I am going to try it.
Just like snowflakes, no two are ever alike.

I really wanted to try this block background stamping.
Distress Inks I used are # Crushed Olive and #Vintage Photo on the edges.
I used smooth watercolor paper, and I think I have to use less water to get straight edges.
To stamp the trees (Tim Holtz) and words (Art Journey) I used Memento #Rich Cocoa.
Sticky pearls from Hero Arts.
