Hi, Godelieve! Love this card! I love the way you used torn paper to mask areas of the background and create color blocks. My favorite part is that you left some areas white - like torn edges. So creative!
P.S. I posted a link to your card in Daniel's WSW Game thread here:

So beautiful! :)
Godelieve, I love the vivid colors and how the bit of white separates them. Your embellishments all look wonderful too. I like the addition of the berries and the buttons.

A VERY beautiful card, no wonder it was in the spotlight here!
Congrats!!!!!!!!
Thank you all :)
Cindi, thanks for telling me about the Featured Project, I missed it :(
Well, I totally didn't expect that after being MIA for so long :)
Such a pretty card! I love the bright colors and the way the blue flowers pop (and cute dotted stems)! The little berry beads are an extra special touch! Congrats on being the Featured Project!!

Project - Color Inspiration Card by stampingmathilda posted 05/30/11 at 04:46 AM Galleries: Stamping, Cardmaking A card I made for a color inspiration. I sponged a background with Distress Inks #Broken China, Peeled Paint, Mustard Seed, Fired Brick and Barn Door, and searched for matching embellishments. Darkroom Door's French Script is stamped with Fired Brick. The bird die is from Marianne Design. I attached it to the background by sewing on these red beads. |
