this is pretty - I love those papers too. I have some simple layouts like this too. Not all have to be profound and works of art. This is great as it gets down the information.

Very pretty! I see why you wanted to use that gorgeous paper. I love the little cameo too.

This is a LO for a Flashback Friday challenge to find an old family picture and tell what you know about the people. These are my maternal great grandparents on my grandfather's side. Journalling reads: Aaron John (A.J.) Cleveland was born in 1861 in Kalamazoo, Michigan and came with his family to Cloud County, Kansas in 1878. Louisa Josephine (Lou) McComas was born in 1860 in Mattoon, Illinois. They were married in 1881 in Concordia, Cloud County, Kansas. A.J.’s brother Amos married a McComas woman in Concordia also, but I haven’t determined if it is a sister of Lou. Lou and A.J.’s children:
Vernie – born 1883
LeRoy – born 1884
Guy – born 1886 (my granddaddy)
Fred – born 1888
Inez – born 1891
Robert – born 1893
John – born 1895
Harry – born 1898
Raymond – born 1903
The family lived on a farm in Cloud County and later moved into Concordia. A.J. and Lou celebrated their 50th anniversary in 1931. He died two years later in 1933. Lou passed away in 1938.
