Project - Happy Birthday - Faux Metal Technique

Pretty card! Great detail to add color to your leaf!

Love that you added color into the faux metal besides the ep. Beautiful work and such elegant simplicity in design. Just enough and so interesting.

I really like how you combined all the colours. I am sooo PP challenged, and you've done a lovely job with this. Hope you don't mind if I take notes

I like the classic design of this card. I like the green leaves on your dark brown embossed piece, and I like the twine. I also like the way you stamped the sentiment and added the line that extends behind the circle. (I just noticed that it's actually a rub-on.) When I made my card for this class, I needed something that extended across the card. I tried different ribbons, but none worked. I ended up repeating the sentiment across the card. I'll remember what you've done next time. It looks really good. TFS. Daria

AWESOME!!!!! Love how you stamped the leaves in color!

Love it! Especially the green color in the metal

Here's my card using the Faux Metal Technique for Week 1 of Stamp Camp by Kristina. I love this technique. I used Ranger Espresso embossing powder and then stamp the image w/color box lime pastel to add color.

Patterned paper are by My Mind's Eye, rub-on is Crate Paper

Sorry for the blurry right side - my scanner didn't like that I pop dotted the faux metal circle.
