Project - Themed Projects : Halloween
by Chelsea Parsons
We had a very weird Halloween last year in Mexico! A few weeks before there were Day of the Dead Celebrations and then we all dressed up for Halloween and NOTHING! The girls ended up making bags of treats for some friends so for them it was still fun. I loved the decorations we made and the fabrics that the girls draped around themselves for capes. I scanned one piece of fabric and added to this page as memorabilia!
1. I chose the large photo and added the scanned fabric to the bottom. To make the joining line between photo and fabric not so crisp I erased some of the photo using a Rhonna Farrer Snapshot Frames corner brush.
2. Next I chose two labels, a Swank Label for the left and a Venice Beach label for the right. Over the top of the right label I stamped a Rhonna Farrer brush from the Label Maker Kit for my text.
3. I'm loving Rhonna Farrer's Typeset Stamped letter brushes, so I stamped the word Halloween. I filled in some text with Modern Type Font and a final touch with a black crow from Jennifer Pebbles new kit Simply Spooky!
Enjoy your Halloween!
