Project - Themed Projects : random loves in my house by Chelsea Parsons posted 06/01/08 Galleries: Scrapbooking <p>Having recently bought a house we got used to looking at housing advertisements! I thought it would be cool to do a little mini album based on things I love in my house. And seeing as these "things" have been in a storage container for the last 5 years while we lived in New York, it was fun to pay homage to them!!!! </p> <p>I love magazine type photos: close ups of cooking things, furniture, crockery… so I went for that basic magazine style look! I have added a blurry cover of a book called "Eat Ate" which is the kind of simple design I like and have based the pages on in this album. It was quick and easy to make. I sanded all the edges once I had the photos and paper glued on, put on white paint to soften all the patterned papers, stamped some lines, put down a word and then journalled in the lines….</p> |
