Can you tell me where you found the Love, Family, Friends border? I've looked all over online and haven't had any luck. I want it for my downstairs bathroom. Thanks!
Response for Iverson 3 - sorry for the delay! I have not been on for awhile. The red stools are from Target. The are perfect for counter height and the step stool on them helps reach the goodies stored on top of my wall cabinets. Love you craft room, too, BTW. <img border='0' src='/images/icons/smile.gif'>
Is it possible to let me know where you got your beautiful red chairs. I am having such a hard time to find some. Thanks!
This has to be my favorite scrapbook room on this site. Love your colors, the way it is organized and the layout of the furniture. I hope you can enjoy spending as much time as possible in this beautiful room. TFS with us!!
I love your room-It is fabulous!
Response to question posted by Kellidg:
The desk and countertop were made of MDF board - two pieces of 3/4 inch glued together cut to fit. We added a nice trim around the outer edge, sanded everything smooth, painted black and finished with a couple coats of poly-acrylic. It makes them VERY heavy but once they are in place they are very durable - have stood up to lots and lots of crafts.
The are not attached to the cubes but we did add a piece of wood to the wall (into the studs) at the back of the top in the long stretches that did not have cubes underneath to keep them from sagging under their own weight over time.

My hubby and I built my scrapping room in what was a small spare bedroom (only about 10 x 12). It is chuck full of happy Mary Engelbreit goodies. The desk is built extra deep to allow me to spread out with even large albums - lots of storage everywhere with the cube furniture. The red walls were all painted with magnetic paint so magnets (and photos!) easily stick anywhere. The stamp shelves were built in between wall studs - nice and shallow and perfect for stamps. My most favorite part: my hubby took off the standard door and replaced it with a cute screen door. I can be in without feeling closed off from the rest of the family and the kitty cat can't! I've had my scrap room for about 4 years and can't image how I ever found any of my supplies without it.
