Winter, Winter, Winter!
To say the least, I'm ready for spring!

In our house (an old 1930's home), Winter means COOOOOLD!  The house has been updated in lots of ways, but none of them being the windows...thus, it's super drafty during the winters.  So, instead of running the electric bill sky high, we bought this lovely kerosene heater.  Lovely, huh?! LOL.  It does a great job warming up the room, but it could be a little more aesthetically pleasing.  So from time to time we joke about the new art piece (the heater) in the room!  Lovely, huh?!

I have that same paper, but I've never used it. It's such a strong color and pattern that it always seemed to overwhelm any layout. Thank you for showing me how to use it and how to keep the layout still looking clean!
