Stamping!  I have them listed as one of my favorite products.  I challenge myself to use at least one stamp on each layout that I create... but really, it's no challenge!  They are the products that I reach for over and over when creating.  And now that I have discovered the technique that is embossing... I am hooked!  I love the effect and the feeling it gives me to create using techinques! 
For this layout, I stamped the title word "february" using the Love, Elsie stamp set, and then embossed them using Versamark ink and American Crafts new Zing embossing powder in Wave Opaque.
The concept for the layout came to me one night in the shower (one of the best thinking places for me<img alt="" src="/tpjs/fck/25/editor/images/smiley/msn/wink_smile.gif" />). I was thinking about how fast the month of February went by.  It was a hectic month, and at times, I felt like it was never going to pass.  So I decided that I would document each month by making a layout about what happened that month.  Was it a good one or bad one? Stressful or peaceful?  And that's how this layout came about.  I *HOPE* to do one each month!
Journaling: 
It was a hectic month.  Late nights at the gym... 7:45 being the earliest. Just bad scheduling.  We did get away for Valentine's.  We saw our first symphony and stayed at the Worthington.  And then the Cowtown. Feb. 28th. Cold, 30mph winds...a crazy 10K, but definitely a good end to a hectic month.
