Project - Themed Projects : a few things by RebeccaLeighann posted 04/15/09 Galleries: Scrapbooking <p>Stamps are just plain fun to use! I could not wait to stamp this fun little tree from Maya Road. The image is so crisp and the stamp inks so well, that I could not resist embossing the image with American Crafts Zing embossing powder in Mustard color. I was super impressed with how nice it came out looking…even the little heart in the center of the tree is crisp and clear! So I went even crazier with the leaves and embossed those too! <img alt=“” src=“/tpjs/fck/25/editor/images/smiley/msn/regular_smile.gif” /></p> <p>For this layout, I wanted to create a title block of sorts with stamps from:<br /> Hero Arts (dots),<br /> Maya Road (tree and leaves), <br /> and October Afternoon (property of)<br /> alphabet stickers/chipboards, and some other fun embellishements like rub on's and stickers. </p> <p>Photo 1:<br /> October Afternoon "please sign and date" stamp. Crisp and clear!</p> <p>Photo 2: <br /> Maya Road tree stamp… LOVE this stamped image!</p> <p>Photo3:<br /> Hero Arts Dots stamp. I inked the stamp with white Memories ink…love the effect!</p> <p>Photo 4:<br /> Just wanted to show the awesomeness of the embossing powders from American Crafts!</p> <p><span style=“font-size: smaller;”><b><i>Journaling (typed on my new/old typewriter):</i></b><br /> a few things that are making me happy right now…facebooking from my iphone, going to church and feeling at home and liking it. spring weather, praying with Adam at night, embossing on my layouts! Body Combat…Adam doing Combat too! Sewing aprons and quilts with Rachel, a newly organized scraproom, watiing for our puppy to be born…a West Highland Terrier! thinking of names for said puppy. taking each day one at a time. enjoying the sweet but sometimes stormy life that is ours. Trusting that God wlll carry us through. Loving Adam more than ever… and this sweet typewriter that Mama gave me :)</span></p> <p>Thanks so much for looking!</p> |
