Project - christmas eve SNOW by RebeccaLeighann posted 03/28/11 Galleries: Scrapbooking A winter layout! I wanted to capture the winter(ness) of these photos without creating too much in a "Christmas-y" theme. I searched a bit through my stash for snowflakes, and then I decided to just make my own! Easy and took me back to my elementary art days of making snowflakes out of construction paper :) I decided to use my snowflakes as both masks, and as elements on my layout. I cut circles out of regular paper using my Martha Stewart circle cutter. Then I folded them four times to a pie shape, and started cutting. When my flakes were completed, i put them in my masking box and sprayed the backs of them with Making Memories adhesive spray so that they would be tacky enough to lay flat for masking and misting. Elementary art, but super fun! Thanks so much for looking! |
