Project - baby status: WELL... by RebeccaLeighann posted 08/01/11 Galleries: Scrapbooking I have had this idea of a LO in my head for quite some time. I always think about it again every time I come home with my new birth control pill pack. It's a bit personal, but I am sure I am not alone in my thoughts so I thought I would share. It's basically a short note that describes how my husband and I always go back and forth about being "ready" for a baby. My pill is always a symbol to me that I am not. Another month, another month...so on and so forth. ;) Journaling reads: We’ve been talking about it for several years. The talk is open & honest, and always comes down to us waiting “just one.more.year.” Neither of us are in a hurry, but the timing is coming up again this fall. I started this page a day before I found out a best friend has leukemia. It has not made me decide one way or another, but is for sure has made me realize that my reasons for not are mostly vain and silly. a baby? Maybe. Well... I wanted to keep things super simple and let the BC sticker speak for itself along with my thoughts. A lot of these products are older but really great, so the products added are one's that I thought were similar and could be used as substitutes! Thanks for letting me share. :) |

This is really funny because I made a similar layout when I was still on birth control! Except I took a picture of my pill pack :)
Now I have a two year old little girl and she is the sweetest. Go for the baby! You won't regret it, it's the most incredible experience ever ;)

I really loved this layout. I'm glad that y'all have waited and have made the decision to talk it out and be prepared. A child is a big responsibility that many take lightly. If you don't have the money or time to truly devote to a child, then you're only hurting them in the long run. When I decide to have a child, it will be because I want to....not because I feel I'm on a time limit. Thank you for sharing your feelings. I know it's a delicate issue.

Life has a funny way of putting things into perspective doesn't it?
This is a wonderful layout, so personal but something that has or will affect most of us that sit on the fence regarding having a child.
Things are only things a child is a wonderful inclusion into your life forever.
