Project - Just Be Merry by RebeccaLeighann posted 12/26/11 Galleries: Scrapbooking, Cardmaking Every year I create our Christmas cards this way. 1. I start with a 9X6 inch sheet of cardstock and use scrapbook products to embellish it. 2. I then scan it at 300 resolution, open the document in Photoshop, and proceed to add the text like our names and sometimes a bit of extra wording. 3. Then I upload it to my printer, and print them out as 4X6 photos. It's just my quick and easy way to get the homemade/hand scrapped look on every card, without having to recreate the same card 100 times. For this card in particular, it happens to be our 5th year we've been married, so I decided to use a photo strip of the past four cards we've sent out each year. Thank you so much for looking :) |

That is a great idea for cards. And your dog is really cute.

This is really great; thanks for sharing! I was wondering if you could add a close up of the bottom portion, I am unable to zoom in to see it.
