Project - GGG March ... tree of hearts ... by Revlie posted 02/25/09 at 04:14 PM hi peas, i've created this tree for Sanne's bedroom, my little 5 year old. she freaked out when i finished it. the best feeling ever :D i've made the tree out of MDF wood. dh bought 2 huge pieces for me. i draw my tree and he had fun saw the thing outside, both happy. than he dragged the 2 pieces upstairs and in 1 evening i glued down the pieces of patterned paper. it's a good way to use all those papers you keep and think of using once... the hearts are made from different pieces of fabric & felt. i've used old babyclothes from Sanne i have difficulties parting with and this way i can keep the memory more alive. i handstitched them with the felton stitch. on some are some fun iron-on thingies (for clothes). thanks for looking! rev |
