Project - Smile Card by Justlulu posted 09/03/12 Galleries: Cardmaking After getting the new October Afternoon Woodland park in my hands I was inspired to make a card using the indigo blue paper. It's just so beautiful! I paired it with a yellow stripe paper from Echo Park dots and stripes collection. Next I used a Journaling card with the butterfly on it and sewed it to the card before adding a big banner sticker to the bottom of the card. The space between the banner sticker and the butterfly was the perfect spot to add the sticker sentiment “smile”. Which is also from the Woodland Park line. Then I added an Enamel dot to the top of the “i” for a little extra interest. Those Enamel dots are FABULOUS! Such a fun alternative to jewels :) I finished off the card with a OA label sticker cut in half and placed on the sides of the card, which made the perfect spot to add a few buttons tied with hemp cord. Last thing I added was a label sticker from Jillibean soup which I cut a portion off to fit my card better, and added a few more enamel dots. Thanks for looking!!! :) |
