Project - Valentines Theme: 13years together by Justlulu posted 02/01/13 Galleries: Scrapbooking For this layout I decided to make a layout to document that this month it will 13yrs since we met and pretty much instantly fell in love. The interesting thing in doing this page is that I quickly came to realize how FEW shots we have of just the two of us. I had a very hard time finding any other that wedding shots to be honest, or little snaps with my camera phone. So I'm really glad I made this layout as it's put into my head that we definitely need to get in front of the camera more as a couple. Even the top shot includes one of our kids via my belly ;) ANYhow… I went and pulled all my favourite goodies in a pink and aqua colour scheme and went to work. The aqua background is from the 14 line by Crate Paper, and the GORGEOUS colored bokeh paper is a fav from Glitz. Seriously, one of my favourite papers right now. I embellished it with some enamel dots from My Minds Eye. The title is a mix of silver glitter stickers by Pink Paislee, as well as Artisan stickers from them too. I love the gummy rubbery texture of them. I used my copic markers to change the colour of the Studio Calico wood veneers before adhering them. Another fun embellishment is the beautiful flower by Websters Pages which sits above a valentines die cut seeing eye chart. Thanks for looking!!! :) |
