I have a confession.. I have started a December Daily album quite a few times and each year I never get past making the title page. ;)

Well this year I am determined to get it all documented! I knew I needed to figure out an easy and flexible way to do that that would work for me.

So this is what I came up with and I am SO happy with it! The basic layout of the album is that each page has a pocket with a 4x6, and two 3x4's. This entire album was made from 4 of the Project Life page protectors that I cut apart and sewed together all frankenstein style. Basically from one 12x12 page protector I was able to get 3 pages for this album. Two the same width, and one slightly smaller which I love. I didn't want it to be perfect. By joining the pages together with a simple binder rings I'm able to shift the pages around later and even add more if I need extra room. So easy, and so much fun.

I also didn't like the type on the spine of the page protectors so I covered it up with both washi tape and glitter tape. I think I like the glitter tape the mist! Then I used a lawn fawn die to cut the hole protectors out of POW glitter paper and glued them down. I adore glitter on my holiday projects and this was the perfect way to add that.

Throughout the album I decided to have a few repeating patterns. They are mostly the woodgrain paper from October Afternoon Silent Night, a Transparency from Websters Pages, and a sheet of Vellum from Studio Calico. I adore the transparency and vellum and they way they add a see through whimsy to the album.

I used a few different stamps throughout the pages, and they were all from the Silent Night line by October Afternoon, I especially love the script tree on the cover! I stamped them with versa mark and used silver embossing powder.

Thanks so much for looking!!! :)
