Laura, this is totally stunning! Love the wood card in the middle.

Very nice...love those happy photos...makes me smile. :)

Love the colours and style of this, wonderful work :)

This is so cute, Laura. I love all of the layers and your journaling is so fun. Such a typical boy, Griffin is. Totally something Ben would do. LOL

The colors and design here are terrific

For this page I wanted to have my sons voice be the journaling so I wrote down a short conversation we had that was just so perfectly “boy”, and him.
It reads:

Me: Griff, did you fart?
Him: Yes.
Me: Aren't you going to say “Excuse me”?
Him: Well I would, but that really wasn't one of my better farts.

BOYS!!! lol. I have no picture of that exact moment so I just chose some silly ones I took of him at that age. I also have no fart themed products (thank goodness lol), so I just kept the page really boy themed in general.

As I was making this, not only did my Silhouette machine completely die, but my regular printer is not working so I had to hand print my journaling. I have horrible printing/writing so I tend to avoid that.

I had planned on using the fabulous cut files for the title of this page, but in the end had to make do with something else. Just my luck ;)

I used lots of the Boys Rule line by Crate Paper. I think it is one of my favourite boy lines in a long time. It's just awesome! Plus, the colours lend themselves well to the March mood board, so it just worked perfectly.

The majority of the background is a navy star vellum paper, then I layered lots of the 3x4, and one 4x6 cards front he line on the page in lieu of more patterned paper. Although I did add one strip to the left side of the page.

I am a sucker for ephemera and die cut packs, and the one for this line is awesome! It even has the cutest tiny little silver star sequins that I sprinkled on the page too.

I used two different October Afternoon stamp sets that I'll link up below, with a fun teak embossing powder. I'm obsessed with heat embossing these days.
